Mionetto Prosecco: Passion, Tradition, and Innovation
Since 1887, Mionetto has inspired the Italian zest for life. Share a touch of Italian style, anytime, anywhere, for any occasion. With its light, crisp and refreshing flavor, Mionetto Prosecco turns moments big and small into moments that truly matter.
From the very beginning, Mionetto has always been a modern and innovative winery able to anticipate trends while maintaining a strong bond with the traditions of its homeland, a feature which still today sets it apart from other sparkling wine producers.
Mionetto's DNA is an integration of italian heritage, premium quality, taste and style, where everything comes together as a single, unique emotion.
In 1887, Master Winemaker Francesco Mionetto opened the winery in Valdobbiadene, in the heart of the Prosecco region, just north of Venice. His love and passion for the region and its wines are still to this day a fundamental value for this unique winery. Mionetto has become a flagship for the area and a shining example of Prosecco production on the international scene.
AROMAS
Prosecco is a premium and prized wine for its combination of refreshing lightness and yet complexity of flavor.
LIGHTNESS
With its fine bubbles and a food-friendly low alcohol content (around 11%), the Prosecco is versatile.
CONTEMPORARITY STYLE
The image and the Italian style of the product are casual and qualitative, not snobbish not elitist.
Prosecco can have different and distinctive features depending on the area of origin of the grapes, reflecting specific organoleptic and chromatic properties. The famous grapes originating from the Prosseco DOCG area where the best-quality grapes are found, produce a bringht straw-colored wine with fine bubbles, lively floral aroma, predominant notes of apple, pear and citrus.
The extended Prosecco DOC area produces different flora and fruity notes based on the characteristics of the soil, generally less intense and persistent in comparison to Prosecco DOCG.
DOC and DOCG
In the Italian wine classification system, "DOC" stands for "Denominazione di Origine Controllata" or "Designation of Controlled Origin". "DOCG" stands for "Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita", or "Designation of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin". These classifications are used to highlight the exceptional quality of the origin that wines come from.
DOC assures premium quality and specifies the region of production and production methods. DOCG represents a higher tier of quality, with stricter controls on things such as the grape varietal and the production practices.
Mionetto’s Alcohol Removed & Mionetto One lines offer the same taste and quality – with no alcohol and 1% ABV! These sparkling wines are produced through the process of dealcoholization. Dealcoholization is the process of reducing or completely removing the alcohol content while preserving their flavor and aroma. The goal is to produce non-alcoholic or low-alcohol versions of our Prosecco, without compromising the original characteristics.
Mionetto's premium, non-alcoholic Aperitivo Spritz Mixer blends natural citrus, herbs, and spices with a bold, bitter-root flavor.
